If you can play R3 DVDs EzyDVD are a bit cheaper (series 1 to 6 work out at around £25 and series 7 £30)... but this seems like a great price for the series 8 boxset.... has anyone seen it cheaper?

Also, has anyone used secondvisual before?

I have bought season 1 & 2 (R1) from www.dvdsoon.com for around £25 each!!

The Region 1`s are the best versions available, none are flippers and they have good extras inc. commentaries on selected episodes. They come on four discs per season!! Recommended

season 2 release on 28th october? can someone explain?
are they being re released with extraz?

Edit
After a bit of searching, I have come to the conclusion that there is going to be some sort of promotion on friends dvds and this should be at all stores. Splash dvd already have them at their site at £7.99 each but u cant get them at that price till 28th october. Play should also be doing this promotion soon.
£7.99 a disc means £24 for a season (unless you want to pay £6 for the box)
Actually splash have the box sets at £17.99 (seasons 1-6)
And season 7 and 8 discs at just £7.99 each.

you can`t compare R4 splash and R2UK prices for sets - because the UK sets for series 7 and 8 have twice as many discs !

The discs have been available cheap for some time if you shop Region4,
or Region 2 EUROPE - the point here is that the UK releases are different for series 7 and 8 - they only have 4 episodes per disc - but they do have directors cuts on the B-side. The really infurating thing is that they started releasing them like this in Region 4 - so I bought 3 DVDs of the first half of series 7 - fully anticipating another 3 for the second half. But Warner AUS decided rightly it was a big rip off, and went back to the 8 episodes per disc format - now I have 3 DVDs of 4 eps each - I have to stick to with this for the second half, but am buggered if I`ll even pay PLAY`s price of £14.99 per disc.

I still think the secondvisual offer is unbeatable - if HMV do it too - I`ll rip their arms off !!

Hello
I dont know what you were thinking but splashdvd are a UK company that deals in Region 2 Discs.
All I`m saying is why pay £31(£1 shipping) when splash have the same boxsets for £17.99 or £7.99 a disc. It just doesnt make sense. Also splash do not charge your card until the item is ready for despatch.
Secondvisual clearly state "We will despatch your dvd on the day of it`s release(Your credit card will be charged now to confirm/guarantee your copy)"
