Strange but true, I purchaed the above (due to come with the all singing and dancing R1 set) for £2.99 off the shelf. Even the cashier was surprised.
Now I can cancel my R1 order, save ££££ and order the non-bookend R2 set.

I`ve heard that the version on the Bookend set of LotR is supposed to be expanded.
Anyway, It`s mostly pretty good, looking at Tolkien`s life and how it influenced LotR, and then veering into the related territory of the Kalevala and the dying oral tradition in Finland. Good stuff, but the last bit, not all that long, is a bit of a waste.
