Those were the days, when Mr Carpenter knew how to make a good film.

I agree, great film with oodles of atmosphere, but why only MONO sound? It`s not as if it`s a 50`s or 60`s movie! Sorry............CORRECTION! Just looked at the site and I see it`s English: Dolby Digital 5.1.................Now where the hell did I see a review that said it was Mono only??

Its a DVD-14 (other side contains pan & scan version of the film).

Ah! Mono re-mixed for 5.1. Still, i`ve ordered it as it`s such a great movie.

Hmmm.. tempting, when horror films didnt have to be about serial killers or filled with stupid or ironic teens, and were a bit scary too...
