Robocop - The Prime Directives (Four Disc Box Set) - £4.49
Haven`t got a clue if it`s any good but for £4.49 inclusive of P&P I`ll take the risk.
Available from Splash DVD (http://www.splashdvd.com). Here`s link:

Or, just search for "Prime Directives" on the splash dvd site.

RE: Robocop - The Prime Directives (Four Disc Box Set) - £4.49
Thanks for that Arbie.
I saw this in the town the other day cheapish, but not that cheap. It seems to be a set of episodes from the TV series or something. Not the ones with Peter Weller in.
You might want to delete that link above, it seems you were logged in when you were doing this, and had two of those sets in your basket. You don`t want people geing able to get into your account. I dunno if you could cos I didn`t follow it through, but it shows the contents of you cart.
Link to the page for the DVD not logged in is:

I might get this myself, what`s the firm like, is delivery fairly quick/reliable?
Mark.

RE: Robocop - The Prime Directives (Four Disc Box Set) - £4.49
Thabks for the heads up, this is one of those discs I keep meaning to buy, but never get round to it. At this price its well worth it- cheers arbie_jay
RE: Robocop - The Prime Directives (Four Disc Box Set) - £4.49
Link changed :) I wasn`t logged in (didn`t even have an account at the time I posted the link).
Nope, these are definatley not the ones with Peter Weller (although to be honest, I thought the only good robocop film was the first one). There`s a couple of reviews of the set at this site (dvd reviewer) and it sounds above average.
This is my first order with splash dvd so not sure how fast they are - although the site stated 7-10 days as the delivery time.
Shame there`s no bonus material - but then again, for under £5 for 4 films I shouldn`t complain too much.
RE: Robocop - The Prime Directives (Four Disc Box Set) - £4.49
I`m just looking through the site now, they have a range of £4.49 films (link on the front page). They`re all the Prism cheap one`s (mostly older stuff, but some gems in there) that are available from PrismDirect for a fiver. I saw the guy in our local DVD shop putting loads of these out the other day in a £5 rack, but that Robocop wasn`t amongst them.
I think I`m gonna get it, as you say, for that price its a risk worth taking. I`ve just found the 4 disks that are in that set available seperately too £4.49 each....gotta be worth it for the set then!
Mark.

RE: Robocop - The Prime Directives (Four Disc Box Set) - £4.49
Arbie,
Did you get to the buying stage?
I`ve got 3 items in my cart, and click "detail and checkout" it shows the 3 items (1 of each) but shows the total price as zero. When I click to complete the order and pay, I keep getting an error 500 message and the next page wont load.
Did this happen to you?
I`ve tried phoning them, but they`re not open on Sundays, just an answerphone.
Cheers,
Mark.

I`ve just ordered it too... :-)
RE: Robocop - The Prime Directives (Four Disc Box Set) - £4.49
HD462 (Mark),
Nope, my order went through fine and I have received confirmation via email.
Have you given it another go? Maybe the server was having a stressful time when you ordered :)
RE: Robocop - The Prime Directives (Four Disc Box Set) - £4.49
Thanks Arbie,
That must have been what it was. I left it for a couple of hours cos it says it empties the cart after 90 minutes. Just been back and it did it ok.
Mark.
RE: Robocop - The Prime Directives (Four Disc Box Set) - £4.49
** UPDATE **
The price has now gone up to £14.99. I`ve also received a dispatch email from splash stating 2 DVDs I did not even order - and it has the same order reference ID as the order confirmation email I received the other day which stated my original purchase correctly.
Im getting suspicious - did splash do a pricing mistake and are now sending out the wrong items on purpose so people will have to return them and re-purchase the DVDs at a higher price?
