I`ve been getting that too. Maybe I`ll buy a pay as you go mobile as they can`t be traced so easily.
Yeah, I did a quick format but I`ve been told I should have low-level formatted it.... whatever that means?

You will need to do a lot better then a format for the Hard Disk.
You really are in it IMHO. Did you PGPWipe it?
