RE: Scary Films?
Try Ring and Ring 2.
RE: A question about Trainspotting ` Flipper` disk.
The label should face up.
Or try both sides and see which one produces 16:9 and then you`ll know.

Help on the Yamaha VS10
Please somebody help me!
I`ve just bought a Yamaha VS10, I`ve also got a optical cable and a digital coax cable with a Vivenco digial to optical converter as my DVD player (a Philips 700) has only a digital output. I`ve successfully connected up the VS10 to the TV I have ( a Philips 28" widescreen ) from which I can get sound out of the VS10 but the problem is when I try to connect up the DVD to the VS10 no sound comes out at all. I`ve connected the optical and digital cables to the converter and plugged the converter into the mains, I`ve made sure the DVD player is outputting digital information, there is definately light coming from the optical (suggesting the converter is working fine) but no sound when I turn the input on the VS10 from the TV to the Digital input.
Please please somebody help as I`m at my wits end with all this.
Thank you.
