36 Advice- Please

Hi,

I`m sick of my little 20 something inch TV and want somehting that allows me to appreciate the widescreen.

I`m a student on a budget and have noticed one can get a 32" for about £500 but I want a minimum of 36? Are they out there for between 500 and 1000?

Please point me in the right direction.
