RE: any veiws on the jvc 522?

I have just bought the jvc 522 from Comet for £179.00 you lucky so & so
I have connected throu the phono leads and the picture is very good on an 9yr old panasonic. But can you tell me if you have the same (problem) or fault where you put a dvd in and when it is reading the dvd the display flickers?
I only notice it does this if the dvd has a menu and not on non menu dvd`s. Thanks
