S-Video to Scart
Will an S-Video to Scart connection give me a better picture than Scart to Scart? I ask this as my TV does not have an S-Video connection.
Thanks in advance.
RE: Please Help
Rod,
If you want a copy of the instruction manual mail me at 63sdoowbob[at].moc.lliamtoh I think scanning it would cause massive files but I could post it or scan it to you.
Bob.

RE: Limit JDV-300A Laughs @ RCE
I also found this out much to my surprise.
All need now is the macrovision disable...........any offers?
Thanks.
RE: MP3
To avoid the bother of reading the manual about naming conventions just set the CD writer software to output DOS files names.
Manual.....what manual?
RE: Subwoofer Placement
For those out there who have upgraded from a stereo amp to and surround sound system don`t throw out the stereo amp with a T-piece connection it could be used as a make shift sub. That is assuming you have another set of speakers kicking around also. Just use the T-piece to turn the mono bass signal out the surround sound amp into 2 and connect as normal to the old amp. Just be careful with the stereo amps volume control as the bass output seems to be set at quite a high level .
I have done this and the results have been very good.....especially when playing any sort of dance music.
Oh the joys of improvisation as a skint student.
RE: MP3
Yes it does mean that you can download MP3s, or encode your own stuff, and burn them onto a CD. As for the acceptance of CD-R and CD-RW that does not really matter as if you put it on CD-R it is recorded permanently and should play on all MP3 compatible players if your CD writer is working properly. If it does not play CD-RW, rewritable Cds, that is no great loss as you can erase them and use it for another purpose.
As for the best software it is not a complex operation to do and the programs that came with your CD writer, such as easy CD creator, should do the trick.
Hope that helps.
RE: Recommend a widescreen tv
I can recommend the Philips 24PW6005 at £305.29 from empire direct.
I have this model and it has been great from day 1. The only thing some may not like is the lack of an S-Video input.
Go on get it you know you want to!
RE: Essential DVDs in a collection
The Matrix possibly?
Limit/Medion website for firmware updates?
Does anybody know if Limit or Medion have a website for firmware updates? I have spent some time looking and have been unable to find one.
Can anyone out there help?
Thanks.
