Problems with sound out of timing with picture
I have a grundig 211 and i`ve noticed with some DVD`s such as Gladiator and X-Men, that at times the sound is out of sync. The only way around this i`ve found, is opening the tray and running the dvd again via the chapter selection menu. Is this a common problem? What causes it and does anyone know how I can stop it from happening?
Non-Widescreen Version Of The X-Men
I haven`t got a widescreen telly, although it is a Panasonic 20" tv. I don`t see what all the hype is about Widescreen tvs, etc. Does anyone know if a non-widescreen version of the X-Men will be released in the UK? It would be interesting to know what percentage of homes in the UK own a widescreen tv as I don`t think many do, so therefore what is the point of releasing it in widescreen when many people don`t have the equipment to view it properly on?
Grundig 211 Hack - Does it work?
I`ve tried the hack for the 211, and it does appear to work but there ain`t no way off telling cuz i haven`t got any region 1 disks. Has anyone had any success? Just thought i`d ask before i order any region 1 dvds.

Does any1 know if there are plans to release the 1st season on DVD in the UK? Cheers
