RE: Mini DVD or cDVD playing.

Thanks for your help there Clay and i think you have also answered me another question and whether a firmware upgrade would enable some DVD players to maybe read a mini dvd disk.

Yes Boris i know what mini dvd is and is why i was asking if any players out there played the format, as i have made some up and wanted to test them out...
Dont know where you got the idea i meant some smaller disk in physical size from????

RE: BUSH WS7671 32

If i was you, I would save up the extra for a good brand name..
Or go to a shop and look and listen at the quality of picture and sound from a decent set and then compare it to the Bush/Alba you are thinking of buying. There really is no contest and also if your better brand goes wrong it will also be worth fixing in the future.
I work on tv`s and trust me the quality of what is inside the cheap buys is terrible, badly burned and overheated after only a years running.
I am surprized some of these bucket jobs even last a year to be honest.
Like the saying goes you get what you pay for...

RE: Amazing Wharfedale 750 Deal

As already pointed out, there is a reason these units are dirt cheap at Tescos!
Just like there is a reason they sell Vcr`s for 60 quid.
You will find out in a years time when the lasers pack up coz they made so cheap...
Each to there own i guess, but i would rather save up the extra and buy and decent unit in the first place.

Mini DVD or cDVD playing.

Does anyone know if on the newer DVD machines that now play MP3 disks. Do them ones also play the Mini DVD format?
I have a older Thomson DTH3600 and it, as most players will not play
the Mini DVD disks.
Just wondered if the new machines with MP3 have more chance at playing these??
