Mine just skip most copied cd:s. It all has to do with what brands you use. I have some TDK silver CDR`s which play fine, but most other brands wont work at all (spinning, reading, skipping to the next disc). So keep trying.

A cold reset on the 945 is made by pressing the counter reset button for a few secs. Haven`t tried this hack that you found out about yet, but I will as soon as I get home. Please tell me if you make any progress.
