Scart image shift to the left?

Anyone else noticed that when conected via a scart lead the image on the TV appears to be shifted to the left slighty, and I think I`m missing a small part of the left side ?

(That`s left side of the picture - not my brain !)

Both DVD & Video appear to have this.
The TV is a Sony of about 5 years old

Any fixes - is it a dodgy scart lead ?

RE: Using Scan 2000 firmware on Manhattan DVD 2000

So - would that work for a Logix 3000 as well ?

Logix 3000 - Subtitles on & scan query

Hi Guys & Gals,

My 1st posting so bear with me.

I bought a Logix 3000 just after Xmas from RicherSounds (excellent customer service btw.) I`ve since learnt from this forum that is a clone of the Scan 2000, apart from the extra scart socket.

I have a problem where subtitles are always on when I play a disc, and I have to turn them off with the subtitle button on the remote. No change of settings on the menus seems to help.

I`m taking it back to RicherSounds for a replacement unit as I see this as a fault. (Unless anyone can tell me a way of fixing it)

Question: Can I check the firmware in the same way as you do on the Scan to fix it, and can I upgrade it in the same way too?

(I`ve noticed some pixellation on dark scenes and would like to fix this too if it`s easy!)

Overall I`m pleased with the player - it is a budget machine (£150) - but it meets all my needs.

Any other info gratefully received.

Cheers
