I`ve not got that one, yet, but I bought the dmr-60d which has everything but the VCR and bought my daughter the equivalent that has everything but the HDD. Both seem excellent buys.
Don`t expect to be able to copy your old VHS films to DVD though. As they are killing off VHS I would have thought they would allow us to transfer, but no. Copyright protection prevents it. I`ve spent a fortune on tapes I soon won`t be able to play.

If you want to buy a good quality product with excellent backup if it goes faulty then this is NOT the one to go for. 18 months later & it`s faulty. They are ignoring emails. Ah well. Last time I buy a compacks
