This Is The Hack For LG 3200E
I tried this hack last night and it worked fine. There were about 3 others with didn`t work, involving leaving the disc try open :S
1. power on
2. press pause (with remote)
3. key in the code "3,1,4,1,5,9" (with remote)
4. the screen now says CODE
5. key in the code you want, i.e 0 for multi (with remote)
6. press pause (with remote)
7. power off (and leave for a few seconds)
Just realised this should be in the hack section, but i can`t be bothered to copy and paste it again.
RE: Aiwa or Toshiba?
"Aiwa has better picture quality , takes all types of discs i.e. cdr, cdrw, vcd NOT svcd though ..and plays mp3`s .it also has auto and manual region hack thru the remote"
Cheers for the advice, the only problem is i can`t actually find one. I spent 7 hours looking in 13 high street shops, and contacting 4 online shops. None of these had any DVD players under 200 pounds, apart from the LG 3200E. Most shops said they would be out of stock until February, so, of course, i bought the LG in the meantime, planning to take it back when they have the aiwa or tosh in stock. The LG 3200E actually seems quite good, pretty good picture and sound, just doesn`t play Mp3`s or CDR - CDRW. Are the Tosh and Aiwa that much better than the LG in terms of picture and sound quality?
