Hacked into LG FFH-DV25 but picture still jerky

Im having problems playing a NTSC dvd on my LG system. The picture is still jerky and I dont know what to do to solve it. Please could someone explain to me as simply as possible (Im a 21 year old girl who has 4 months experience with computers!!!! lol)
