Yes, there is a multi-region hack - actually the hack is the same for the "67" model.

With power on
Press setup

A number 2 will appear in the top right screen

Use the Left-arrow or Right-arrow to change the number to 255 (multi-regional).

If you press Down-arrow 1 time, you will also see "3000" and if pressed again, "5000". Use the Left / right arrows to change these to "3001" and "5001". This removes Parental Control and allows playing of SVCD`s.
