Burning 4 disk images onto 1 DVD

Ive got a game which is 4 cd roms.

Does anyone know how I can make 1 DVD image of all four disks?

Ive tried mounting each disk, copying the files into one folder, and creating an image from that, but when installing, it asks for Disk 2. - Also, when copying the data from each disk, there are a few files which are the same on each disk (inf and ico files), so it asks you if you wish to overide them - I chose no.

Anyone know if this is possible?? - I used Daemon tools to mount each disk, and nero to create the image file and burn.

Any help much appreciated

RE: Help!! DVD Writer (s) Problem - creates `jumping` movies

Managed to get it sorted. Turns out its one of two things.

1. Because I was running Daemon tools
2. Rather strangely, because I had both my DVD RW`s `on top of each other` in my case. I put a spare drive bay in between them - think it could possibly be a heat thing, but still not convinced!!

Anyhow, cheers for your help

RE: Help!! DVD Writer (s) Problem - creates `jumping` movies

Did exactly the same!! Baught a new DVD RW hoping all my problems would be solved, never happened for me :(

Ive just tried both writers on another system, and both appear to be fine - creates perfect DVD`s.
Looking like Im gonna have to do a format unfortunately >:(

Thanks for your reply though!!

RE: Help!! DVD Writer (s) Problem - creates `jumping` movies

Thanks for your reply, Ive tried a few different pieces of burning software. - Nmaely Nero, DVD Santa, Ulead Movie Factory, but its the same with anything I try. The only thing I havent done is a format. I was going to try doing one, and putting Win 98 on it, as well as XP, then trying to butn from Win 98. Do you think this is worth a try??

Thanks again for your reply!!

Cheers
Edit**

It helps if I read the post properly!!

Ive used TMPEG, DVD Santa has its own in built, and Ive tried a new one I just got - DIVX to DVD, still exactly the same on each one.

Ive also got movies which are just the VOB files, that have been ripped with Smart Ripper - and again, thats the same!!

Help!! DVD Writer (s) Problem - creates `jumping` movies

Hi,

Wondering if you can help me out on this one.

I have 2 dvd writers on my pc. One is a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-109, and the other is listed in device manager as a DVDRW IDE1008. The problem I am having is this : -

When I burn a DVD movie (whether it be from an image file or simply the VOB files), when I come to play the movie on either my PS2, XBOX or Phillips DVD player, the movie will hang / pause for aboout 10 seconds throughout the film. I have tried numerous movies and it appears on each one I burn. Ive tried different pieces of burning software (Nero, Alcohol, DVD Santa, Ulead Movie factory) but the problem will not go away. Ive tried different disks - ones that I know work fine on a friends writer (he also has the pioneer dvr109). Ive tried burning them at the lowest speeds, but nothing at all will seem to fix the problem.

Ive updated the FW on both drives, as well as the drivers, but still getting the same problem.

If I play the movie I have burnt on either of the drives themselves, it is absolutely fine - no problems at all.

Running on Win XP Pro SP2, AMD Athlon XP2200+ CPU, 768MB DDR Ram, 2 x 80 GB HDD, Asus A7V 333 Motherboard. - Both DVD RW Drives are on the same IDE cable, but I have tried also with just one connected, and get the same problem.

Getting really frustrated now, as I have about 30 coasters!! Anyone any suggestions to what may be causing the problem, and obviously, how to solve it?!!

Thanks in advance
