RE: pioneer dvd 535 why is it dicontinued so early after its release?

I dont know where you got your info from but the Pioneer 530/5 are still on the Pioneer uk and europe sites as new products. There was absolutely no indication that these models are to be discontinued quite the conterary in factso i think you may have been missinformed for whatever reason. Also i have a 530 and for the price you will be hard pushed to find a machine with picture and sound anywhere near the Pioneer let alone as good. Hope this has been of help to you.

The 530/5`s sold by leconcepts.com are multi region auto/manual macro disabled and rce compatible. Know this all works as i got mine from them as for hed dont know.

I have a 530 and its never been noisy It was noticable if you got your ear next to the player when new but it seems to have bedded in as now all youcan hear close up is a slight motor whir just as you can on any dvd player.

We have had a 530 for a couple of months now and the disc mechanism seems to have bedded in somewhat as its quieter now than when new. However it was never noisy enough to be any irritation when watching a film.

I bought a Pioneer 530 about 2 months ago when I took my Alba 103 back to Argos and got a refund because of the RCE problem (it would not play region 1 RCE titles). I thought the Alba was an ok machine but compared to the Pioneer it is very second rate in all areas of performance the Pioneer is a stunning performer in both video and audio and I think it`s silver finish is very classy. I can highly recomend this machine I got mine regiion 1-6 auto/manual Rce compatible macrovision disabled from leconcepts.com who I can also recomend
