RE: Official Sony PS2 Remote Control - £2.99
Hope this is still relevant. Received my remote the other day and it works fine with my Slimline PS2 - no setting up, just put the batteries (included) in and away you go. It all works fine, however, the `Eject` button does nothing. I guess this is because the cd eject on the slimline is a manual process.
RE: Free Orange upgrade
Yep, I can vouch for this one too. Ive been doing it with Vodafone for at least 5 years. The best line to get them going is "what is your fax number so I can send written confirmation of the termination to my contract?". You`ll be offered your next mobile, as long as its within reason very soon after!
RE: Official Sony PS2 Remote Control - £2.99
I think so. I hope so anyway! I ordered mine this morning £4.99 is still a bargain. Ive been reading and it appears this doesn`t come with an IR receiver (you can get a Remote and IR receiver that plugs into the memory slot) and to the best of my knowledge the only PS2 that has an in built IR receiver is the slimline model. So ive put 2 and 2 together and reckon ive got 4(ish).
I will know more hopefully tomorrow. So unless anyone has a definite answer ill let you know then!
RE: How to get up to £20 off iPod Shuffle
Has anyone actually recieved their Ipod (recently) using these xmas promotion codes?
I ordered an Ipod shuffle and cheap CD single got my £20 off and entered my card details. This was done on Monday and since entering the order - that status has not changed. it still reads `Order Not Yet Proccessed`. I then noticed on the HMV Website a Terms and Conditions page ( http://www1.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/navigate.do?ctx=100;-1;-1;-1&pPageID=1129 ) which mentions "Offer excludes.... and all non-games hardware..." So im not sure whether this will `slip through the net` or will get picked by someone. On the plus side the vouchers are still valid and will be until 31st March 2005. Let us know if anyone has had any succsess and I`ll keep this updated if it arrives - or doesnt!
