HELP!!!! Finding Address with a Phone Number?
Hi,
Something really crap has happened, basicly someone stole my phone, at the airport just before I went on a three week holiday, but this was unknown to me when I left, only about 2 weeks in did I notice it gone, However some #!*!% had run up a £500 phone bill by that time, which I have been told I am liable for.
Though the b[at]ts*rd was a busy sh*thead, cause I now have a 28 page bill with a list of all the numbers they rang.
Is there any way I would be able to find out the addresses the phone numbers belong to? I have the list but am going to the police station today and basicly if I can find the addresses, it will hopefully speed up the search.
Thanks...and I know I am a class A moron please spare me the "You stupid ****" I am feeling brilliant enough as it is right now... :/
I appreciate any help that I recieve! :)
iRiver IFP180 (128MB MP3 Player) £29.99 @ Richer Sounds
I bought this for my sister on Saturday, as she has said she had wanted a small MP3 Player and it seems ideal! She is not really a big gadget person , and only wants a few tunes on the move so she really loves it! The details can be seen on the RICHER SOUNDS website
Some of the features-
*An FM Radio so you can record straight from the radio when used with the recording feature
*It uses 1 AA Battery which gives 20 hours of playtime, and saves bother with charging.
*The sound is brilliant- sounds better than my iPod, but that could be because iPods come with crappy headphones...?
*And for a "brand name" You would not get a cheaper model
* The TSP £69.95 so you save £40!
It is only availiable Instore, but they have loads of stores around so if you ring them up (all store phone numbers are on the site) then they will tell you if they have it in stock. Also the staff are really helpful
I`d just like to note - I don`t work for them but am a very Happy Customer & think this is a great bargain! :)
Times Online Free Audiobooks- Wuthering Heights & Enduring Love
Go here
and follow the instructions for Wuthering Heights- I wasn`t gong to post `cause I thought it wouldn`t work, but tried it and the link still does. Also you can try for Enduring Love HERE read by Richard E. Grant. I don`t know if this works, but I downloaded it a couple weeks back when I bought the newspaper, and it was brilliant (but I could be biased as I think anything Richard E. Grant does is Brilliant- well...apart from those awful Argos ads... :p)
Alas I digress :p ... but if you want the audios you should prob download them as soon as you can because I think they have expiry dates...

RE: MAD Cheap BOXSETS at Amazon - Indiana Jones £3.97, Monty Pyton £3.97 etc
Quote:
I just hope this place doesn`t fill up with a bunch of angry knobs claiming "foul", like these threads usually do.
I was a bit peeved because it had said invalid order, and I didn`t even get an email from Amazon, saying that it was a misprice, and/or that they cancelled it! (Even after yesterday showing as dispatched!) :(
But it was worth a try & its no biggie if they don`t honour it, I`m not going to lose sleep, and I have neither the time or inclination to sit hunched over a keyboard writing angry emails... (no offense meant to those that do) :)
RE: MAD Cheap BOXSETS at Amazon - Indiana Jones £3.97, Monty Pyton £3.97 etc
Mine too! I had made an order for the Monty Python, Die Hard, and one SATC, and it seems they have just cancelled the order without any notification.! And yesterday it was showing as dispatched!

Monster`s Ball £3.95 Including Postage @ Filmnight...HURRY!
Haven`t actually seen it, but I thought this is cheap for a new-ish film...

RE: Lord of the Rings DVD Bargains
Received mine this morning, complete with creepy-psyco-gollum-statue-thingy, dunno what I`m gonna do with it- doesn`t fit in with the decour... :p :D
RE: Lord of the Rings DVD Bargains
Thanks G Man!!!! :D
Hope my order is accepted!
Hopefully I will have all of the Extended Editions now:
-I got the RoTK from CD WOW when it was selling, and with vouchers it came to £3.49!
-I paid £17.99 2 weeks ago from Axcel Music, for the FOTR, the R1 version with a free hardboard box to house all the extended editions.
Could someone tell me if the R2 collectors box extended editions have a hard cover like to R1? It`s just that I had wanted my set to match! :) TY

RE: Anyone used BangCd?
Hi! :)
I haven`t used them, but there was a thread over HERE in the Bargain Buckets if it helps...
Has Anyone heard of DVDgaming.com?
I found them in a search engine, and a DVD they have there is about £5 cheaper than anywhere else with free postage. However their website looks as though it has been created by a 2 year old, so I`m a bit sceptical...has anyone bought anything from them before and received your order?
Here is a LINK
TY :)
RE: Did anyone see The Girl in the Cafe?

Did anyone see The Girl in the Cafe?
I know Richard Curtis is known to turn anything he touches into sentimental mush, but I really think he struck a sort of balence. Africa is an important issue, and hopefully this brought the issue to the attention of a new audience, those who have become desensitized by the charity adverts and news. Though I think it is probably unlikely that it did reach out to anyone new...I hope it did...
What are your views? Did you think it was well put together or totally hate it?
P.S. I think this may belong in the Films Forum?

RE: Tesco Camera Phones - £12.49
Hi :)
I had ordered one, @ about 1ish as my dad had been looking for a simple mobile for ages,(perfect for fathers day!) and it had gone through the checkout,& the transaction had been processed. But I just got a call saying it was cancelled, and that although the money had been taken out of my account it was not taken by tesco, so it wasn`t actually an order !? >:( :/
Oh well, Worth a try!
Thanks anyway to OP :)
Scrubs - Season 1 Dvd
Hi, :)
I want to buy the Season 1 Scrubs DVD-which is out soon- (Yay! :D), but does anyone know if the Region 2 version will be any better/have more features? I`m asking because on some websites, the R1 version is listed as having 3 discs, whereas the R2 version is listed as having 4 discs? Can anyone confirm which version will be better/have more features, as I might as well get the best version? :B
Many Thanks! :D

P.S They are still on the website, but you have to do a search for the specific artists(e.g. type in U2 in the search box and you will see all but one of their digital albums are 79p...it works the same for some of the other artists listed before)
RE: Free £5 voucher for play.com with Daily Star codes

6 DISC PINK PANTHER BOX SET £22.99
Hi,
This is not really my thing but if you are interested CD 101 have the 6 Disc Pink Panther Boxset HERE (usual price £59.99) - I`ve ordered from them before and they are really good with their orders :)
RE: Free DVD from screenselect
Hi,
I just have to say they are brilliant! :D I signed up with them in a similar offer and chose my free DVD, and I thought it would take at least a month to arrive, but it only took 2 days!-the free dvd arrived before the rentals! Also I did actually get my top choice films, and when I cancelled they did not charge my account...unlike Lovefilm! :¦
RE: The New Deeper Bambi
Oooh I bought a box set of studio Ghibli films, just because I saw "Laputa-castle in the sky" was on it (I remember seeing this film when I was younger and it always haunted me, because I never saw the ending) so all the other 4 films included were just a bonus. I watched Grave of the Fireflies once & I can`t find the words to describe it...I wouldn`t dumb it down by calling it a cartoon...but it was just brilliant -if anyone could get their hands on any Studio Ghibli films, (esp Spirited Away) - watch them...you won`t be disappointed!!! :) (Except with Totoro...slightly overhyped!)
RE: Rio or Creative?
I have been trying to decide between the exact same two players for the past 2 months! Though am still not sure!!!
This is what I`ve deliberated on so far:
The Rio Carbon looks stylish & it`s not that common, so you won`t see every man and his dog with one.(unlike ipods) Also I think it is possible to purchase a connectable FM tuner so you can record from the radio.(Need to confirm that though) Does anyone know what the casing is made from? From every picture I`ve seen it looks like Chrome, but I`m not sure if it has got a metal casing- if it is just shiny "metal look" plastic then that is a bit crap really.
The Creative Zen has loads of Brilliant features and would be perfect, but it does look a bit like a "poor mans ipod"- not that I mind...but still :p
Decisions, decisions (:¦
I feel like that girl in the options hot choc advert... :/
RE: THIEVING IDIOTS ON EBAY
Hi,
I`ve had that happen to me so I just posted an ANGRY MESSAGE IN CAPS, (asking what to do about the people/person who stole my carefully written description and picture), in the ebay selling/buying forum- it made my item sell for much more then it would have & the idiot who copied my description didn`t sell their item. I suppose it didn`t help their case that they had copied my user name as well, which was also in the long item description... :D
Anyway I think that if someone copied and pasted your description (that you wrote yourself), you can prob contact eBay and complain, but I doubt they will do anything? :(
RE: might do a uni course comin sept.. but how much r the fee`s? is it still 1250quid or more?
Hi,
I believe that if you have already applied (& been accepted to a uni) to start either in Sept 2005 OR deferred entry for Sept 2006, then you will pay the lower fees. I think the same applies if you go through clearing for entry in 2005. To apply for a deferred entry you need to meet the requirements of the uni you want to go to by 30th August 2005(?).
Hope that helps... :B
Just out of interest what were you thinking of applying for?
