RE: Help needed in lamens terms to set up dvd/video etc

I have come to the conclusion that my telly is crap, I have managed to set everything up as you said minus the outside aeriel (dont have one, just watch everything through sky). But still I cant get the tv tuned into the video channel, so when I record I get zip. Just means I`ll have to get home early from work to watch ER!

Thanks a million for your help though as at least I can watch videos now :)

Help needed in lamens terms to set up dvd/video etc

First off apologies to all as I am going to sound like a right idiot once you`ve read my query, but hey hum I need help!

When we got our new telly I didnt bother setting up the video as we dont use it, but now I need to tape ER and I havent a clue where to put all the leads. At present I have 3 scart sockets at the back of the telly, one is attached to the dvd, the other to the sky box and the third is free. Theres a lead that goes from the sky box to the telly, that is on a double adaptor that has another lead to the telly in the bedroom. All I need to do is figure out where to put the video scart so I can tape sky. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

RE: Are any of the £700ish Rear Projection TVs any good?

Hi there, I got a Samsung rear projection 42 inch off a friend at a bargain price, unfortunately I was not aware of screen burn and now have a permanent interactive arrow in the top right corner. Also the actual screen isnt glass, it is a soft material and I have already scratched it. Picture is brilliant though. My sister has bought and LG plasma which I know is alot more but she is really pleased with hers, maybe worth saving a bit more??

RE: Goodmans 3500pk - hack problems

Thank you for info, not being very tech minded I hadnt even considered that when I bought it a couple of years ago. Luckily we have a £30 player that does play them.
