RE: Assistance with Nokia 7600 Westy or anyone else

ok then, further to thisproblem i had,i have phoned vodafone customer services, and as i thought phone DOES have to be "switched onto" GPRS by themselves ( Vodafone ).. My phone now has a little G on it, all the time, as i understand i only pay for what data i download...now the problem is i have messed with a few settings, and havn`t got a clue what they are supposed to be set up as...i can stillphone outok, and receive texts, so now where do i go to set up my mms services?phone says you need to subscribe to gprs first when i try to send a picture message?

RE: Assistance with Nokia 7600, fully unlocked ..cant send mms"gprs conection not available"

I bought my 7600 on ebay,works great...except
Mines fully unlocked for dual and gsm modes, i`ve got the settings for o2, 3, vodafone and vodafone gprs, on the phone, and when i try to use my vodafone sim , for voice calls etc on vodapayasyougo, its fine, though i cant seem to send pictures to anyone by number, as it says "Gprs connection not available"..i have received a couple of tones via bluetooth and infrared ...i have no idea about all these networks, and what they are supposed to work with and what theyr`e not...
Only other thing i can think of , that it might be, is that i`ve not registered it yet, with 3,and i think it was originally part of a 3 package, from Amazon..Does this matter? do they have to actually "activate" the MMS capabilities of these phones on registration or something, usinmg the EMEI or whetever its called? and until then, they only work as normal text and voice?
