RE: Yet more 12m free contracts, including the new TMobile Relax tariffs

Thanks for the info on osps.

I have only used cpwh and e2save cash backs and they have both been very good on that front.

I took out another "free" deal with mobileshop.com at the end of last year but have yet to claim the cash back.

RE: Yet more 12m free contracts, including the new TMobile Relax tariffs

Thanks for the update - do you think its worth holding out till the end of the month for better deals as its the end of the financial year and I am hoping they will be desparate to sign up customers and meet targets?

24 Seasons 1-4 now £16:95 at Amazon

RE: Archos Gmini XS200 for £94.99

Ogster - thanks for all the info re the 200.

Today while demonstrating my new 200 to some work colleagues someone asked if this has the same problem as the ipod with regard to battery replacement. Anyone know?

Also - does anyone have a recomendation for headphones - the ones that it comes with it seem fine - but I have read on ther formus that better headphones might make a big impovement in sound quality - anybody confirm this?

RE: High Spec PC £749.99 from Aldi from 24th Nov

otherwise Id have snapped up far more of the PC and TV bargains over the last few years

I know I think they have only recenty started taking them.

Am I the only person to have seen the flyer fo 24th November? - I am looking at it now and if says at the bottom "We now accept the following credit cards - Mastercard and Visa"

Maybe its only in stores in Scotland - anyone else out there clear this up?

Can confirm - just cash & debit cards - NOT credit cards

Erm no thats wrong. Aldi take Mastercard and Visa credit cards.

It says this clearly on the flyer for this weeks offer. They have been taking credit cards for a while now.

Please get your facts right before contradicting others - or else whats the point of posting?

RE: O2 - Nokia 6030 200xnet 100 texts 12 month contract FREE FREE FREE

Who know - you pays yer money an all that......

It looks like they have been on the go for at least 4 years- and won some awards....

No guarantees with any business though.

O2 - Nokia 6030 200xnet 100 texts 12 month contract FREE FREE FREE

I am also missing the great man Reestit Mutton. :(

I hope he would approve of this deal you even get 400 mins and 200 text for the first three months.

Usual cash back rules

http://www.mobileshop.com

RE: phone contracts

Just to add my 2 pence worth. Following RM`s advice I got a 3 phone from CPW (500 min 100 txt) for £5 a month after cash back - I then got an even better deal for the wife from E2Save which is £0 (zero) per month after cash back.(both were with the free square nokia)

These deals were on the go at Xmas 2004 and they both sent the cheques in the last couple of months - so as you can imagine I am well chuffed.

Now while the 3 coverage is not as good as my previous vodaphone - I can get a reasonable signal most of the time between Glasgow and Ardrossan (my usual commute) and have had no major problems traveling around the UK.

You get what you pay for - but this is/was a bargain - and if the price is right I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Big thanks R Mutton!!

RE: Camcorder advice - I`m out of touch!!

I have just got a Sony HC19 of Amazon for about 250. It seems pretty good appart form the software which is doing my nut in.

I was looking in a camcorder mag the other day and the Sony HC 22 (300quid)and JVC GRD 240(£230ish) - both came out very well.
