RE: Cambridge Audio DVD Players, Any good??
Very pleased with my purchase of a Cambridge Audio dvd53 recorder from Richer Sounds. Excellent quality, good remote one drawback no videoplus but excellent build quality compared to the chinese Mico 311 of which I had tried two and had to return.
Would definitely buy the brand again.

RE: Toshiba hack needed
Thank you very much,
this worked fine for the Toshiba SD24VBSB dvd/vcr player.
Still can`t get rid of macrovision though
even with a KT special cable.
Also looking for hacks for the Cambridge Audio DVD53RW
RE: MiCO DVDR311 DVD Recorder £99.99 Sainsburys
Yes, when I returned mine for a refund. I an a service engineer for checkouts and so go to different Sainsburys every day of the week. None spotted in the Midlands area since about the first week in January. They had none to replace my dead machine.
Having looked inside my dead machine, I was not impressed, poor old looking circuit boards with a definite made in china look, no wonder they had so many refurbs lying around. I have had two machines, first one D.O.A., the second one worked for approx four weeks before losing all power.
Shame it was a great price point at £99.99 but the machine is not up to the job I`m afraid.
Replacing it with a machine from Richer Sounds at £169 probably Panasonic.
