RE: Dvdfromasia Problems?
Hi,
I`m afraid I can`t really offer any helpful advice as I have still made no progress with the guy. I`ve done exactly as you have - returned the DVD`s, sent a few emails to the guy, and yet still nothing. I also contacted Paypal but they said as it was now after 30 days, there was nothing they can do...
....looks more and more hopeless...(and I bought 2 copies from the guy - one for me and one for a friend!)
Anyone else had any luck?
Alex.
RE: Dvdfromasia Problems?
Hi,
Did he ever tell you to not to accept the package? That`s what he told me, in order so i dont pay the post and package?
But that sounds odd to me, in a way maybe he could claim that he wouldnt have to refund me if i never got the parcel??
RE: Dvdfromasia Problems?
Hello again,
After all that I have finally recieved my dvds. But the date on the postage stamp says 22/4/04 which is 10 days later than when the bloke said he had sent to me! Ironically he sent his email re: kill bill on the 25/4/04.
I will email him to let him know that I have received the goods and ask him to pay for the postage back to him as well as out full refund. I don`t think I should send it back tho unitl he confirms that he will refund us in full. He still hasn`t replied to the last message I sent him.
Getting closer for the timem to have a word with playpal if I don`t hear anything soon....
RE: Dvdfromasia Problems?
Hi Guys,
Thanks for the reply- they are somehow reassuring and disconcerting at the same time ;-) I had already done as you said Laughing Gravy and wrote a polite e-mail along with the the invoice (this was after seeing your own post on your success), but was fobbed off. After waiting another week I was polite again and asking if it would be possible to have what you guys had (obviously not worded so specifically) but still not joy. And like Si, I eventually sent a third e-mail the other day but have had no reply (as before he was very prompt in his replies - at least that is something nice to be said about him, hehe). Maybe he just has too many refunds on the go at the minute....? I`d hate to have to go through paypal to claim the money back, but as you pointed out, he is at fault....
Thanks again for your replies, and nice to see someone did recieve a dvd!
Dvdfromasia Problems?
Hi Folks,
Did anyone actually receive their DVD of Kill Bill from this guy? I know it turned out to be cut, but I haven`t even received the thing and its been ages! I have even received the order from yesasia that I made after I found out it was cut (the one from dvdfromasia being cut that is).
I have emailed the guy twice, but he was of no real help. As other people seemed to get a refund for the dvd and for the cost of postage (without having yet recieved their copy?), I seem to get the impression he is trying to con me. He told me to wait until the dvd arrives, then refuse to sign for it, and then I can get my money back and also not have to pay postage. But it`s just the fact I have read about two other people on this board not having a problem and apparently getting a refund without having recieved the DVD at the time...
Maybe I`m too paranoid (but it`s getting on for 4 weeks now), so i`m hoping some other people`s expereince`s can quell my fears! ;-)
Thanks in advance,
Alex.
RE: BEWARE! www.dvdfromasia.com ARE SUPPLYING CUT THAI KILL BILL VOL 1`s AS UNCUT
Hi,
I see you guys had no problem with your refund. However, when I emailed him asking politely about getting a refund too, I had no such luck! I waited another week before e-mailing again, but I was fobbed off again. I had mentioned the second time about you guys getting 2.50 towards P&p but he told me that if I dont accept the parcel then I won`t have to pay the p&p and then will be allowed my refund. As it has been such along time since the postage of the dvd (getting into the 4th week now?), I`m getting worried about whether he actually sent one in the first place? Has anyone actually recieved their dvd? And/Or did you get a refund before you recieved the dvd (which is the impression I got)?
Thanks for any help in advance,
Alex.
