RE: Panny E55 & SD Memory Cards

Bowfer
Bought mine last week, and it has a SD socket under a centrally placed flip down cover.
This why I bought a Pentax camera using SD to save pictures to disk simply.
The remote now has three format buttons marked HDD,DVR and SD.
Even the manual on the Panasonic site is not yet uptodate enough to show it. I brought it up to show my work colleagues to see what they thought, so tomorrow i`ll have to bring mine in from home.
Cheers

Like I said please help this simpleton.
Should have read E50, Sorry about that. The E55 has gone upstairs.
Further to what I first wrote the memory card works a treat on my Sagem ITD66 using the universal card holder.

Panny E55 & SD Memory Cards

I know you should read manuals first, but could any one advise this simpleton on how to get photos on screen from a SD memory card.
Firstly, if I format the card on the Panny like it says will I be ok to take pictures on a Pentax then just stick the memory card and show the results. I took some trial snaps without firstly formating the card and was flag up it should have been formatted first
Secondly if I can do this what is the proceedure to bring them on screen and putting the images on to Dvd-r?
Bottom line is I`ve a new recorder and camera and no idea.

DVD-R recording on E55

Using my Panasonic E55 I have recently transfered for the first time an old recording from a 8mm camcorder on to a Memorex DVD-R 4.7gb, (1X-4, video 120 min. disk).
It plays back great on my E55 but not on three other players I have tried it on. It does not even load. This is the first time I have tried to transfer video to disk. Any answers please to what I am doing or using that is wrong.
Thanks in advance.
