RE: dotcomdvd

Hi ,

Ordered on several occasions from this company and am very happy with the service.

had probs with www.blahdvd.com and www.101cd.com , www.play.com ok but not cheap anymore.

www.sendit.com good as well , I think anyone wanting bargains should snap them up while they can.

A lot of companies are being kicked off Jersey and guernsey because of the VAT issues.

I may be wrong (and please correct me if i am wrong (which I am sure you will do!!!!)) but these following company`s will have to shut down or buy up one of the few genuine Channel Island company`s.

www.tesco.com
www.dvdplus.com
www.selectcheaper.com ( dont ever buy from these people by the way!!!! )

asda, sainsbury`s , www.thehut.com are also affected by this.

The big 3 that are geniune Jersey company`s are www.play.com , www.dotcomdvd.com and www.blahdvd.com . I expect the owners of the last 2 I mentioned will be laughing their heads off and waiting for the big money takeover phonecalls!!!!

RE: DVDdotCOdotUK are fastest at delivering dvds

How do we find these guys then?

can someone put a link to it here..

RE: Are Splash now Blah?

Hi Forum,

Would just like to say i ordered from blah and it arrived within a week...

I apologise for my earlier comments which suggested blah had some connection
with splash....

I live in Jersey by the way and there is a lot of bad press concerning dvd companies who fulfill their orders from here..

I think we should give any new company a chance to prove themselves otherwise we shall all be held to ranson by the big guy`s who have been around long enough to stifle any competion..
When that happens we will be paying whatever price they choose...

RE: Got this e-mail today after I complained to trading standards about this

Think they are connected........... Where did you think all that money that went missing from splashdvd went?

The Jersey authorities are onto them though i think....

RE: SPLASHDVD OUT OF BUSINESS

Jerseypost were awarded £81,294 against Splashdvd today for unpaid fees

RE: SPLASHDVD OUT OF BUSINESS

Why doesnt anyone here call the Jersey Financial Crime Unit on 01534 612612 ?
I have never bought anything from them but know people who have and they have always got their goods..
It does seem that there is a lot of complaining going on here but it might be better if you vented at the right people......

Just a thought....

Contact Number for splash dvd

Please feel free to check out this site

www.cyclonehandcuffs.com

It is owned by TOPPERS (CI) LTD

They own Splashdvd and there is a contact number here for one of the directors......
