RE: Help with Pacific 750 hack

Thanks - now playing R1 discs and even RCE no problem

Help with Pacific 750 hack

Hi - I have tried the pacific hack several times, but after opening the tray and typing in 8 4 2 1 - the screen then displays Region 2, but no matter which button we press next we can`t change it - any ideas what we are doing wrong?

Thanks

Wharfdale 750s Sound problems

My wahrfdale 750s is connected to my TV via a scart socket, and while watching DVDs I often get a crackling nosie not unlike that from an old vinyl record - any ideas how to cure it would be welcome

RE: Sixth Sense R2 in Wharfdale 750s

Thanks Chris - I had intended to do a keyword search as I was sure the problem must have arisen before, but couldn`t find the search button beside where you enter keyword search. Pressing enter didn`t work

Sixth Sense R2 in Wharfdale 750s

Has anyone else had problems playing Sixth Sense on the Wharfdale 750s - I am getting a coloured band down each side of the screen - have tried switching the setting s back to factory default but no difference PS have Tesco quit on the wharfdale dvd players

Wharfedale 750s versus 750

Due to a faulty remote I nipped down to Tesco and exchanged my dvd player, and noticed a 750s so I took that. Not sure about technical differences, but having had both, I would definately recommend the 750s over the 750 for the following reasons
1- loads discs up much quicker
2 - has 3X zoom
3 - can go up to 20X fast forward and rewind compared with 2X
4 - best of all can play MP3s - I loaded a CD with 261 MP3s and it played perfect
5 better remote control

Wharfdale 750

I`ve recently bought a 750 ( couldn`t find a 750s ) and I am very pleased with it apart from one thing - the disc whirring in the drive is quite loud and annoying - is this specific to the 750 or should I take it back
