RE: What`s your favourite Comic Book/Superhero movie?
For me, it is a close run thing between Xmen 2 and Hulk. I disagree with all those people that want more of the Hulk action that we see in the last part of the film - i found the balance just about right and I was more interested in Banner trying to contain the Hulk rather than just seeing the monster smashing everything up. I didn`t like the confrontation with his dad at the end, but for me, that is the only real flaw. I just hope the sequel makes the Hulk look a bit scarier and keeps with the emotional issues rather than becoming a pointless brawl (which is what happened with Blade 2).
XMen 2 is great too. I just watched that again yesterday and I can`t knock it for entertainment. Maybe a few of the characters are underused, but there`s plenty of time for more exploration in later films.
If you are including non-comic book films, then Unbreakable deserves a mention as it is a top notch film albeit quite slow.
Bring on the Daredevil director`s cut and let`s see how badly Fox interfered with the movie. I kind of liked Daredevil, despite its flaws...would have been so much better if they had kept it consistent and fleshed out the plot though. There was no need for him to perform super-human leaps etc.
