ALBA DVD 45 - VCD AND SVCD HACK REQUIRED

Hello all
I will be buying this DVD player tommorrow from Argos for 37.47pds i know the code
hack to make it Multi Region although i hear it`s Multi -region out of the box,i also hear
that this is a ALBA DVD 108 in disguise if so are there any hacks at all to make this
player play VCDS AND SVCDS your help would be much appreciated.
