please help! after ripping dvd to my hard drive my computer cannot read the file and therefore cannot play the movie.Some times when i reboot the machine it will play the movie but when i try again it wont. Can someone please help? By the way i have tried system restore several times but it still doesn`t work and i have never had this problem before.

Missing files

When i run Norton WinDoctor i get an error message saying Missing file C:program filescommoninstallshielduntime80intel32dotnet.exe"cannot access file nscoreedl. windoctor cannot repair this. I am also having problems recording a dvd and also removing a program with add and remove programs. I dont know if these problems are related but they all occured at the same time. Can anyone please help?

cant do a thing with it

my mate has just had his computer infected by a virus.
when he turns on his computer the only message that appears is virus data file v4179.
he runs on windows 98.i havn`t seen his computer myself but has anyone got any ideas as to what he can do.i have checked both the symantec data base and the microsoft one to but cannot find a clue as to what that this is.even if some one can tell how to do a full system recovery ie celete everything from his computer so he can start again i`m sure that he would be most grateful by the way his keyboard does not seem to be responding. thanks
