RE: Sainsburys sells TV and DVD combi for under £100
I went & got one yesterday & tried it with a selection of discs from various regions along with a DVD-R. It was very inconsistent it what it would play. Firstly it wouldn`t play a disc & gave a loading error message but I swapped it out for another disc & back in again & it would play fine. This happened with a number of discs. I took it back to Sainsbury`s for a replacement & was told that a member of staff had already returned one, but they didn`t know the reason for the return.
Anyway, I got the replacement & all discs played fine first time. So there may be a few dodgy ones out there but if you get one that is OK then 99 quid is a bargain.

Well it`s for the kids you see.
Half of their DVDs are non-R2 so they wouldn`t be too happy if they could only play half their collection.
