Hi,
The hack works perfectly for me. You just follow the instructions and you will have a region free DVD player.

Open the CD tray, enter the code with your remote 9,9,9,9,0 "Region 0" should appear on your screen and you are all done. You need not enter the code again. It will play all regions. If that doesn`t do the trick contact me and I will try to find out why.

Good luck, Nice present by the way!! It`s a cool collection I just wish some will come up with a firmware upgrade to play WMA audio tracks and AVI video. The mpeg and MP3 capabilities are cool!

Macrovision Remover For Philips DVD 625k

Hi,
1. I want to record my movies from DVD to tapes so I can view them later especially with rented DVD I don`t want to miss the good parts. Does anyone know any Macrovison remover codes which could be useful to me?
2. I also need any firmware update for the same DVD so I could enhance on what it current can do. I hope a new one will be out soon so we can watch .avi files (if it is not yet out.) So any help on that too will be appreciated.

I need a Macrovision Remover code (if it exists) for Philips DVD 625K and any firmware upgrade which can enhance the file formats that I can add to it like playing of WMA, AVI and DivX (just hoping it exists somewhere).
