RCA, Philips, Sony, Kenwood, or Onyko???

I am buying a new receiver with speakers w/o a DVD player, I narrowed it down to these 5 brands, I found them all for right around $250 to $300. I am having too hard of a time deciding which one is better between these, here are the model types of the ones i chose.

RCA RT-2500
RCA RT-2600
Onkyo HT-S650
Sony HTD-DW840
Kenwood HTB505
Philips MX999

DVD Player Opinion

I wanted to know if anyone has a specific DVD player out of these (Down) that they like and why, I am looking for a new one to buy and they all seem almost the same, I want a DVD player that will have a good mp3 setup, VCD, and Sound.
By the way, price is not a big issue, just quality. It needs to be a single disc, progressive scan also. Any other reccomondations will also be seriously considered. Thanks for helping me narrow down my hunt.
