RE: Gladiator disk 2
Try pressing and holding the "Access" button on the remote until the Proline Access screen comes up and then press access again to select the programming menu, then select Track 1 all chapters (by leaving the chapters blank it assumes all) and press play. I had the same probs with High Fidelity and this was a bit trial and error but worked okay .
I`d be interested to know if this works on this disc.
Proline 1000 - If your R1 disk freezes on loading
Maybe an obvious one, but I`ve only just got this to work. Some R1 disks load the FBI warning and then freeze. High Fidelity is my most recent experience.
Press and hold the "Access" button on the remote until the screen reverts to the Proline logo and then by pressing again you get the programming menu, where you can select part one of the disk, leave the chapter option empty to select all chapters. Then press play.
I may have been being stupid but thought I`d share as this had me foxed for ages :)

High Fidelity problems
Just bought this DVD R1, and doesn`t seem to like my Proline 1000, even though the multiregion hack works for all my other R1 disks. It just skips to the FBI warning and goes no further. Anyone else encountered this - is there a way around this?

RE: PROLINE DVD1000 Hack: Is multi-region feature future proof or Region 0?
Just bought High Fidelity on Region 1 and it skips straight to the FBI copyright warning at chapter 28 of the disk, disabling all buttons and requiring a power off to open the disk drawer. All my other R1 disks work ok, is there any reason why this one doesn`t work?
