Hope someone can give me the answer,i bought my wharfdale 750 back in february, although it was not badged as dts, i was told it would output dts.Now several months on i have invested in a videologic digitheatre dts hooked up to my wharfdale using the coaxial digital output and guess what?yep i cycle through the input and mode buttons and according to the amp NO DTS output,am i doing something wrong?was i given false information about this particular batch of wharfdales from tesco?have i got a s***load of region 1 dvds with dts? YES.Is there a big difference between DD 5.1 and DTS?hope not.........

RE: Videologic digitheatre - any good?

I recently purchased the videologic digitheatre dts after much checking the unit out, and comparing it to its sister the digitheatre and i can tell you that it is well worth the 370 notes i paid for it,ok it is about 120-170 pounds more expensive than the digitheatre 5.1,but-and it is a big but you are getting the ability to decode the excellent dts region 1 soundtrack, the whole unit looks better and sounds better than its predecessor, and the remote is slightly better(ok so you are still gonna lose it down the back of the sofa)Dont be put of by the satellite speakers they can hold there own(with the volume at halfway it rocks)and the glorious sub growls away in the corner with a total output of 175w rms it is the perfect finale to any home cinema set up check out videologics website for reviews,i bought mine at www.dvdworld at the reasonable price of 370 pounds-buy one.

RCE DISKS/WHARFDALE 750 HELP?

My problem is this,is my wharfdale dvd750 never going to be able to play the patriot and god knows what other rce discs warner bros have up there sleeve-or is there any way around this,i.e new hand set hacks,i have read about the hacks for the 750s,but will it work on the 750.I know there is only 1 rce disk but surely if warner bros think it is doing the job more disks will follow,i have had the wharfdale for about 8 months and am well pleased with it,but is there any other decent machines out there budget wise that can deal with RCE? hope you can help cheers
