Box Office failing to reply

I ordered 2 DVDs from DVD Box Office at the start of Nov, they still haven`t arrived. I have emailed them 3 times but they won`t reply to them. What next? Can anyone help?

Ordered 5 DVD at the same time. I received an email stating they had all been posted on the same day. One disc arrivies 8 days later and 3 weeks after that I am still waiting for the other five.

Box Office back to their old tricks again!!!

Far to long, even the kids got bored after 2 hours. Great effects but the story was V/slow. Glad it`s over for me couldn`t watch it again.

I have been hearing rumours that the film companies are about to leash on to us an improved version of RCE and this time we will not be able to beat it.
Has anyone else heard this and if so what now.

Halloween uncut

Does anyone know where I can get my hand on the R1 of Halloween (uncut restored limited edition) double disc and would it be best to wait for extended edition that come out in Aug.

Paid for discs but still waiting for them

I ordered several disc from VCD-IMPORT during Nov 00 and I am still waiting for them. After several EMails they said that a replacement order had been posted to me, that was at the start of Jan 01. I am still waiting. Does any one know of a body that I can contact to help me get a refund as VCD_IMPORT will not answer any more of my EMails.

I can`t understand what happened with ur replacement chip from DVDCHIPS. I got one from them for the Patriot, put it in myself and bingo,that was me around the RCE problem.
Ring DVDCHIPS and let them know what has happened, they if they have any customer relations at all they will sort out ur problem FOC.

Go to www.dvdchips.co.uk
They sell a chips for £20.00 that you put into your Wharfedale 750 and it gets round the RCE problem. It so easy to do, it must be I did it.

Beware of VCD-IMPORT.COM

Be careful if ordering from vcd-import.com. I ordered several films from them on the 27/11/00 and I am still waiting for the movies. They were quick enough to take my money. I have EMailed them several times, I do not hold my breath any more waiting for a reply. I will put it down to a Mickey Mouse site.

Please be aware.

My system was one of the first. Go to www.dvdchips.co.uk. They sell a replacement chip to sort out your RCE problem for £20.

I was able to watch VCDs before the upgrade.

I have a 750 and I own region 1 discs with RCE and over 20 VCDs including Star wars Trilogy and they all work perfectly.

Hollow Man---RCE

I read some where that the Hollow Man has RCE on it.

Does anyone know if the chip supplied by DVDCHIPS for the Wharfie 750 sorts out the Hollow Man in the same way it sorted out the Patriot??????

What causes the picture to flicker?????????

I own an upgraded Wharfedale 750. Over the few R1 films I have noticed the picture shudder. Is my player giving up the game or does the lazer need cleaned. This doesn`t happen all the time

Any one able to give advice.

If the lazer needs cleaned, what is the best cleaning kit to use??

The player is a Wharfedale 750 upgrade and my TV is NTSC capable. All my other R1 discs play with no problem including The Patriot and Gladatior disc 2

problem with `SHAFT`

I watched Shaft on my upgraded wharfie 750 and I founded it flickers during the film. Is the disc faulty or is this another problem disc for the Wharfedale.

service stinks @ VCD-IMPORT

I ordered several films from VCD IMPORT for my two kids on the 07/11/00 and 29/11/00 and I am still waiting for them. I have mailed them several times but I have had no reply. I know VCDs are cheap and nasty but the kids like them. Be warned if ordering from them their service stinks, by the time they arrive to my home address my 6 year old will be 30 years of age.
What a Mickey Mouse company VCD IMPORT are......they are quick enough to take your money though.

Tescos 750 Upgrade????

Does anyone know if the Tescos upgrade for the first Wharfedale 750s lets it play RCE films ????????????

Wharfedale 750 -- encrypted region 1 discs

With Warner Brothers starting to putting an encryption on their new region 1 DVDs disc, does anyone know if the Warfedale 750 will be able to play them????
