TECHNIKA 203 (from Tescos)
The hack that is for the wharfedale M3 works but the way to get to it is to go to the password page on setup as follows
OPEN DISC TRAY
CLICK SETUP ON HANDSET
RIGHT BUTTON three times (i.e. to the password settings)
TYPE 49540
You will then get a grey box that says region 2 - you can scroll this up and down to any of the 6 regions including region 0 for multiple region
then press PLAY
and the new region has been selected - Some people have reported them being multi region out of the box anyway even thought it says region 2 but maybe it just plays all types anyway:)

RE: Technika 203 from Tesco`s?
I wasnt sure if this was a multi region function or just one that meant that your player could work with PAL, MULTI OR NTSC tellies - it says clearly on the box VCD and Region 1 compatible - have you tried region 1 disks in it yet? Anyone else any experience of this and any comments?

RE: Technika 203 from Tesco`s?
Just to let you know that the quality on it is superb - it is basically the same as the 1020 but in a different case-the sound quality and picture quality are like those in the £100 quid plus range...the only probs I am having is finding a hack for it - there is a thread in bargain bucket about using the wharfedale M3 hack but I cant get this to work. Does anyone else have any ideas?
Cheers

I have just bought the Technika 203 (which I believe is just a reboxed 1020 as the instruction manaual says pretty much the same thing - however the wharfdale m3 hack doesnt work - what can I do for hacking now?
