Where can I buy a Thomson DTH-460U ?

Can`t seem to find a supplier of this DVD player, multi-region, anywhere. Have tried high street stores, various internet companies and Thomson`s own web-site. Can anyone help please ?

Husband doesn`t want to wait. Think we`ve narrowed our search to 3 models. JVCXV-N5SL, Thomson DTH-460U or Pioneer DV-550. If you stumble across a good mail order price for any of these, multi-region, it would be really useful.
Am finding it impossible to find anyone who stocks the Thomson so would be especially interested in that one. Might even start a new thread asking if anyone knows where I could buy one !
Thanks for the offer of help.
Liz

RE: Anyone got the JVC XV-N5 or Thompson DTH460?

Thanks for the response. What did you end up buying ?

Anyone got the JVC XV-N5 or Thompson DTH460?

Looking at buying either of these models, multi region, so any info on quality & ease of use will be appreciated.
Each machine is meant to have JPEG facilities. We would like to know if it is easy to download our digital photos, (we use Adobe Photodeluxe) onto CD and view using either of these DVD players.

Please help us find the right DVD player

Don`t understand the technical jargon which is often used. We want to spend £125-£200 on a DVD which is multi-region, allows digital photos to be displayed and is going to give the best picture & sound on our Panasonic 100Hz Dolby surround, ProLogic, 3D bass TV.
Would probably prefer one of the better known brands, unless you want to convice us we would really be wasting our money! Have been looking at the Pioneer DV454 or 550. Any info on these or other suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks

RE: Can Anyone Recommend a Good Multi Region DVD Player???

I`m looking to buy our 1st DVD and know little about them which is why I`m on this site ! The Pioneer 454 looks a distinct possibility. Interested to know if you brought from SevenOaks (it certainly seems excellent value). Have you any idea how much extra they charge for chipping to multi region please ? Are chipped machine readily available or do you normally have to order weeks in advance ?
