RE: Widescreen Question?
I ahve a Philips widescreen I bought about 4 years ago - a 28w9631PC.
I am delighted with it. The comments here about geometry being crap on widescreens is a real surpise to me - I`ve never experienced any such problems.
When people see the picture on my TV for the first time, they generally say something along the lines of "Blimey - thats a good picture!" - I of course don`t really realise hos good it is as I`ve now gott used to it.
Tho Philips have released a couple of other models since I bought mine, it is still an excellent tv.
I`d buy another Philips if I needed to replace mine. It was fairly expensive when I bought it so maybe their cheaper ones are not so good?
RE: Adult DVDs from USA websites
Just for info...
I ordered some DVDs and a VHS casette from Vidshop.com (which seems to be related to completelyconfidential.co.uk) and only got the VHS cassette delivered. On the web site, there is some blurb about delivery guarantee, which I took to be a good thing. However, I emailed 3 times and phoned once (I actually phoned a number of times, but all but once I got a message saying that the voicemail was full) but got no response.
So, from my experience, I wouldn`t order from these people. I`ve been ripped off by about £90.
If they do turn up, I`ll gladly post another note here to let people know.
Let the board know how you get on with the supplier you chose.
