RE: Who annoys you most on TV?

Victoria Beckham, because she cannot sing and is terrible at miming.
If she was to at least sing LIVE I would have some respect for her. I cannot stand anyone that does not sing live.

RE: Spooky Britain?

Hi John,

I believe my son had a Near Death experience, July 23rd last year my son was a little unwell. He had complained that he felt a little dizzy throughout the day.
He said his throat hurt and he did have a slight tempreture which I had given him medicine for.
Any in the evening I was sitting in the chair in the living room and and he said to me his throat hurt, so being into aromatherapy I said I would go and make him a blend for his throat. He said ok and I left the living room.

When I returned I thought he was still watching the cartoons I went into the kitchen to get a few more bits and when I looked he was face down slumped on the chair, he was being sick. As I pulled him up his eyes had rolled and he had passed out. He was not breathing and seemed as though "He was not there" Of course there was a lot of panick and screaming and tears as he turned blue and would not breath. All this was happening as I was on the phone to the emergency sevices and my husband was trying to get our son to breath. To be honest we didn`t know what to do as his Jaw was cleanched and his body was vomiting up clear liquid.

Eventually he did breath, it was all a few minutes this lasted but it seemed to go on for ever. His breaths were light and short and he was taken to hospital. It took a little while for him to come around and when he did wake up he looked at me and held my hand and his first word to me was "died" I asked to him to explain but he couldn`t and was pretty upset by it. Now he doesn`t remember it and I have done some research and have learnt that children cannot put it into words as they don`t know how to. Also children forget their NDE very quickly. I have in Conversation asked my son about heaven and he has explained it to me and his words are "It is beautiful, there is green grass and beautiful flowers everywhere" I ask him him does he know this and he says " I just do"

If you talk to anyone claiming to have had a NDE they will tell you that the words "I just do" are what lot of people that have NDE say, as they just now.

Now I know my hubby is not a believer, I on the other hand am open minded.

RE: Need to return a DVD player to Dixons but no boxes, need help please.

Hi Guys,

I copied this from the Trading standards site.
http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/cgi-bin/calitem.cgi?file=ADV0043-1011.txt

You only have rights for 30 days after purchase?
Not true - depending on circumstances, you might be too late to have all your money back after this time, but the trader will still be liable for any breaches of contract, such as the goods being faulty. In fact, the trader could be liable to compensate you for up to six years!

RE: Having trouble with the Matrix, can you help?.

Thank you gingerone for your reply.
We did try it on another dvd player and it was the same although not as bad as it was on ours, which makes me a bit p***ed as we over £300 ( it did come with speakers) for our dvd player.
So hubby has taken it back today to get another matrix.
Thanks again.

Matrix dvd???

Has anyone had trouble getting the Matrix to play in their dvd player?.
I got the Matrix dvd yestreday in the whsmith sale for £4:99, thought that was a good price!.
Anyway 40mins into the film it locked, stuttured and locked again.
Now it won`t play at all.
I did hear that some dvds won`t play the Matrix, my dvd player is brand new and is a philips and cost alot of money.
Any advice anyone???

Thanks.

Having trouble with the Matrix, can you help?.

Hi,

I got the Matrix today and was really happy to sit down and watch it.
I was 40 minutes into the film and it just locked up, then stuttered and locked again.
I opened the dvd tray and tried to get it to play the dvd again, but it won`t load in, i`m having alot of trouble with it.
My dvd player is brand new, a philips and i`ve had no trouble with any other dvd.
It`s a normal region 2 dvd, has anyone else had this problem with the Matrix?
