on the start screen , the one with the DVD Video MiCO Electric cloud picture, make sure no cd is in, press 7 7 select, and you will be in to the extra options.

some times if you make your player region free, it disables the macrovision as well. give it a try.

Well i don`t know your model, but here`s one for elta dvd player 8890 and the 8891:-
1. Turn the player of then power on the player.
2. push on remote control open/close(tray should be open now)
3. type 3308 on remote(4 x will be on the screen)
4 .wait and type 0
5.wait and push open/close
6.power off
7.The player is now region free and macro vision free so you can copy dvds to vcd tapes.
