Cheap, prompt and reliable. I have dealt with dvd.co.uk many times and not once have they not impressed me. Try it!

Thoughts on Splinter Cell

Has anyone seen the vids and pics for this game? What do you think about it so far and is it worth a purchase?

RE: X-Box - R.I.P.?!

XBOX, dead? What planet are you on. You do know Micro$oft make the Xbox, right? You can moan and shout all you want about the current situation of the Xbox but sayin the black brick is dead is just plain dumb! When Windows XP first came out, the sales for the first month were 80% lower than the forcast sales. It is comon fact that Microsoft never gives up on anything and as a response MS pumped millions and millions of extra funds into promos and advertising. The result is that windows XP is the fastest selling OS in terms of market growth and is quickly catching the overall market share of windows 98. Take this as a guarentee if you want; Microsoft will never stop pumpin money into the Xbox programme untill there is an Xbox in every home. It`s not rocket science but some people just don`t get it!
I also own all three new consoles and personally i prefere the Xbox and the PS2. The gamecube was a huge let down personally but it still has a good following and support will still be there for it down the road. I buy games for my PS2 if they are exclusives only. I buy all other multi-platform games i want for my xbox due to the better graphics and (often) better tuning of the gameplay (e.g. Tony Hawk 3). There are some great games for the Xbox (presently and in the pipeline) suiting most preferences. It all depends on personal taste but if i were betting on which console manufacturer has the longest life expectancy, i would bet everything on the mighty M$ Dollar Machine!
