i had same prob i downloaded firmwear back in November and when i tried to flash it to player it wouldn`t do a thing
as a result nothing happened to the player so i am lucky.
i have tried 3 times to upgrade firmwear now lol
i can get the region code box up no probs. just can`t change it
anyone else got any ideas?

I too have a Ronin P215 and am unable to proceed after the same stage. i was given instructions tofollow but after putting in 8888 the serial number appears but nothing saying how to change the region. love the play as it plays almost anything but not my region 1 disc :/
anyone knows how to solve this it would b much appreciated

Hi can anyone help me i have the player cos one i had didn`t play vcds, but now invested in a dvd+R drive and all discs i make copies of will not play in my player. mad thing is i can now play em in my old LG2000e player arrrgggggg. so does anyone know how to get a dvd+r to play in this machine. all other hacks work just fine thanks.

Hi i am looking at this player as we have a new Aldi with tons of them
Does anyone know if there is a macro hack?
I need to do this because of the way my system is set up, ie older tv with only 2 scart sockets.
