RE: Free Fox DVD`S - Did You Receive Yours?

RE: Band Of Brothers for £15
TIN VERSION, delivered by courier
rang up checked balance £15
WAHOOOOOO!
but note, I also recieved a FINAREF letter which is insurance cover for purchases made (2% of total balance)
so I would ring and cancel that also!
RE: Attention Bargain Hunters!!
when you compare Region 3 to Region 1, Region 1 normally whups Regions 3`s for content
thats why a lot of Region 3`s on CD-Wow are cheaper if you check, I doubt I will ever buy a Region 3 again unless it actually does contain more than any other Region
RE: HELP! Marantz DVD 4200 plays VCD`s but very badly. Sound out of sync with Image!
is this player multi region hackable?
if so how did you do it?
cheers
RE: Trust 4 Megapixel Digital Camera, £139
could you just not ask them in email if it`s "interpolated"?
Austin Powers TSHSM
The Spy Who Shagged Me £7.49

IMOM is £10.95 at SplashDVD

anywhere cheaper? or a cheap boxset?
RE: Star Trek TNG Season One - £9.98 at Blockbusters!
Soprano: "I bought 6 season 1`s and a 1 season 2. I hate star trek "
I guess you`ll be selling them on ebay for a quick profit then, like that guy selling Band of Brothers for £150 that you pointed out :)
I feel sorry for all the trekkies you are denying the bargains

RE: Momitsu DVD Player with Built in FM receiver
Is it worth the risk after the UMAX saga from ebuyer?
RE: Umax DVD Player inc. 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker System £83.55 inc VAT
there`s all lot of people mentioning the clicking problem on other forums, in fact nearly everyone!
they are sold out now but it looks like there`s going to be quite a few going back as most people can hear the clicking and they aren`t that pleased about it
wonder if they drop the price back to £83?
RE: Terminator 2..£5.99..mis-price? ...be quick
its the Widescreen 2.35:1 Anamorphic version 5.1 DTS, that`ll do me
the special edition version (£17.99) is only 1.85:1 only dolby digital and supposedly only 1hr 47 mins
and the Ultimate (£17.99) is 2.35:1, Dolby Digital (5.1) Surround EX ; DTS ES ; Stereo ; THX Certified, more subtitles, with loads extras
just ordered the single disc, cos I`m happy with DTS soundtrack
RE: play sale started
I think they`ve just rearranged the site, cos most of these were reduced before
RE: Umax DVD Player inc. 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker System£117.49 inc VAT
been posted again by the looks of things but a lot cheaper this time

RE: Pop quiz Q:5

RE: LG 20" DESIGNER TV £99-99
10% off voucher is out for Currys :)
RE: LG 20" TV NOW BACK IN STOCK @ Currys.co.uk
LOL, I see you are here too mate
If people can look, I`m sure you will find the new 10% discount code for Currys making this TV under £90 again
RE: Back To The Future Trilogy - £19.99 at CD-WOW
I also got charged
ring CD-WOW and they will refund the charges
10/10 for Customer services
p.s. a flat DVD will scratch another flat DVD if a tiny grain of grit somehow gets inbetween them, and it may just happen no matter how carfeful you are

RE: Great Offer: Pioneer HTD5 @ £199.99
BAH, wish I`d bought that EX-Demo one now :(
oh well, here`s to the next home cinema package deal
10% off at Currys
I`m signed up to Currys emails and I`ve just got a 10% off email until 23rd of Jan
I dunno if these are personlised as at the bottom it says "10% discount only available to recipients of this email. All offers subject to availability. Prices correct at time of e-mail issue".
Don`t think they are you can tell just by code really, but this is my 1st one so maybe they do this all the time?
No doubt it will be on one of the voucher sites soon, if not already!
I suspect if you sign up to receive emails they will send one out to you
makes a DVD recorder look tempting now

RE: Great Offer: Pioneer HTD5 @ £199.99
HTD-510 is the actual model no of that system
few results in google with that
shame they`ve gone now
praise to HED for removing the page immediately tho unlike some online retailers
p.s. I noticed that HED also trade with another name, can`t remember what it was tho!
RE: on9dvd The Two Towers?
it`s obvious that they are just high quality cinema copies or screeners pressed onto a cheap DVD
my mate got one, not from there tho, I think it was for a fiver, and its just the film with a simple PLAY FILM, CHAPTERS menu at the beginning that looks like someone has knocked up using DVD Maestro etc and then a very good quality movie
the risk is yours to take if you buy them
RE: Great Offer: Pioneer HTD5 @ £199.99
I rang multiregion magic this morning and HED also
both had stock
HED did not offer any sort of multiregion solution and the cheapest mod I found was £40 anyway. I needed multiregion
Multiregion magic told me that it was the last one which was EX-DEMO!, so I asked if they would discount it anymore and they said no, not even a tenner off!
they did offer a DVD with it but I thought not as I have seen or have most of the selection or I could get them elsewhere for less
shame cos for £240 I wudda had it, even it it is the size of a betamax video but I was put off by the fact I was getting an ex-demo for the same as everyone else had paid for a new one!
but I have since found other home cinema bargains and will post after I make my order cos you lot will probably clear the stock out if I post it now :)

RE: Argos DVD sale - Futurama Season 1 £12.99
Cotter, how do you know they have changed the T&C, did you read them before?
cos the T&C and Q&A don`t match up
http://www.argos-entertainment.co.uk/helpdesk.asp?storeurl=argos#47
When will I be charged for my order?
You will be charged when your items are ready for despatch, so please remember that where an item is placed on backorder, you have ordered a book that is not yet published or "pre-release" music, DVD, video, or game title, you will be charged at a later date for these items when they are ready for despatch.
http://www.argos-entertainment.co.uk/helpdesk.asp?storeurl=argos#43
4. Goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.
Hmmmmm, so what does that mean?, the Q & A states they will not charge you until ready for despatch, then the T&C page state if they have charged you they will refund
What`s going on? does anyone have an old copy of the T&C if they have updated?

RE: £5 when you signup & £2 discount off a purchase at CD-WOW
I just wrote them down
cheated in a way but got me £5 for nothing :)
yep, it did end on 31/12
RE: MIRROR DVD+R+RW INTERNAL DRIVE - £149.99
but as of yet you cannot use unbranded media at 4X with A05
why is A04 more expensive tho, is it because of this?
