RE: Multi Region Hack for Durabrand DVD-1005

Sorry mate, still looking! Its driving me nuts - all the other models have cracks - so I presumed this would - I only bought it to use as a multiregion, as my other player can`t be hacked very easily or cheaply.

If anyone out there has any ideas please help!!!

Durabrand multiregion and DVDremoteHack

I`m desparately in need of a region hack for my Durabrand DVD 1005. Its not the same as the 900 or 1000 models as suggested.

I`ve found a site - DVD Remote Hack - that says they have a code to unlock it but want to charge me for it. Has anyone had any experience with this site? Should I trust them with my money? Its a Paypal site.

Help me please!

RE: For all Miyazaki Hayao and general Anime fans out there

I`ve been sent the DVD`s now, and watched Nausicaa (which is superb by the way) and the quality is actually pretty damn good for a film of its age, the subtitles aren`t too bad either, a bit out of sync at times, but not too much and the use of English isn`t as bad as others I`ve seen. However, I don`t think these are from Hong Kong, they`re region 0 not region 3 like in the reviews you showed me, I have to say they look pirated to me, but they`ve done a damn good job if they are.

For all Miyazaki Hayao and general Anime fans out there

I accidently stumbled across a gem a couple of days ago. A site offering most of Miyazaki`s films in double feature DVD sets (two films on each) for only $12.95 each, they also have a box set with all of them on for $79.95. They`re region free so no need to worry about them not being able to play or anything. I`ve seen a review of the DVD`s and I`m assured they are excellent quality in Japanese language with English subtitles. The site is animedvdweb.com . If you`re a fan of Miyazaki (creator of Princess Mononoke etc.) or anime in general, I urge all of you to get them.
