Hi,
A friend has a panasonic(similar) & it`s fine. However Toshiba are rarely beaten on picture quality; how large is your screen? Tosh has superior component outputs. If you`re only using once a week I`d recommend just buying the one you find the prettiest or Remote the easiest to use.

8 months old. All original, MINT condition. Dealer says it`s a version 2 player. (namely 2nd production of original version). Multi-region can be set for Auto, but resolution better on manual. Arcam can upgrade Firmware as new formats are released. Component outputs. Silver finish!
This makes your CD player redundant as CD replay is stunning! Comparable to CD72T Arcam cd player.
Save yourself 300 pounds on new. Still under warranty. I`m wishing to upgrade to FMJ model with progressive Scan. Can demo Sussex area.
