I too have a Samsung, which does not like CDRs, but as of yet have also not found a solution.

I wondered if you could help me. I am trying to hack my player for all regions, I have been sent a US DVD, which of course will not play.
Have you managed to hack your machine? I am unable to display the region the machine is programmed for and hence can not then selected all regions. Any clues, have I missed something
