Aiwa 370 - why keep banging on about this, when there isn`t any left!!
I`m trying to purchase a reasonably priced entry level DVD player, but cannot find the above mentioned machine! surprise, surprise.
I have read the reviews about the LG3200, but I cannot find one of these either (just the multiregion one from Richer Sounds, which I understand will not play RCE?). The other model that they have available is the Limit JDV300; has anybody any comments regards this player?
Assistance required. & takeback your Alba 109
Assistance - I brought 6 months ago (in my enthusiasm to embrace the world of DVD) an Alba 109 (yes, yes I know how stupid I am now!), but with some gentle persusion, I returned it last night to Toys R Us.
I now need advice on repurchase of another DVD player; which one?
I have got about £230, but would like to update my system (I have an old Pro-Logic Sherwood amp). If I got a player with an onboard Dolby Digital decoder, would I need a new amp?
I have read intensively, reviews & posts re the AIWA 370 but understand this model does not have one. If the answer to the above question is `yes` then I would like to buy the AIWA, & upgrade the amp at a later stage. So......................
Does anybody know the answer to my question, and the whereabouts of the `holy grail` (aka AIWA 370)?
Thanking anyone in advance.
Do I need a hack for an Alba 103?
Just brought my first DVD player, but I don`t know if I can play any other regional dvd in it?
Can anyone tell me how I could check (without having an american disc to hand)?
If a `hack` is required, does anyone know how?
Thanking anyone in advance.
Paul.
